About Us
Susan Jarvis, owner of Aristocat Transportation in Warren, Michigan, founded the company in 1987, with just one stretch limousine and a small operation based out of her home. Since then, Aristocat has grown to be one of the largest transportation companies in Detroit, Michigan and offers a worldwide transportation network.
From humble beginnings, Aristocat has grown to become one of the most respected and trusted companies in Michigan, serving the needs of corporate, individual and special events markets.
Aristocat represents a fleet of over 60 vehicles offering sedans, vans, limousines, SUV’s, limousine busses, shuttle busses and motor coaches.
In 1992, Aristocat expanded by acquiring the assets of Peerless Executive Limousine Service, and again in 1995 by acquiring the assets of Exotic Transportation.
In 1995 Aristocat won the “Best Transportation provider of the year” award given by Metro Times magazine.
In 2003 Aristocat Transportation was proud to be awarded the coveted “Rose Award” by the Detroit Metropolitan Convention Bureau.
In 2005, Limousine Digest magazine chose Laura Starr, general manager of Aristocat Transportation as “Most Valuable Employee of the Year”. The award is the coveted award in the industry and was presented in Atlantic City at the Limousine Digest convention.
In 2005, Laura Starr and our head chauffeur Richard Anderson were among the Top 3 Finalist to receive the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau “Rose Award” for recognition of service excellence in Metro Detroit. In 2007, Laura received the “Rose Award” for her outstanding exceptional customer service.
In 2008 Sue Jarvis was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the National Limousine Association. The National Limousine Association has over 2400 members worldwide and is the largest limousine association in the world.
We have been featured on WDIV T.V., FOX T.V., WWJ radio, WDRQ radio, WOMC radio, Somerset gazette, the Independent newspaper, The Detroit news, the Oakland Press, the Reporter, the keynoter and many other publications and media.
Aristocat Transportation is an active member of the Detroit Metro Convention Bureau, Great Lakes Limousine Association and the National Limousine Association.
OFFICE PERSONNEL
One-to-one contact is a priority with Aristocat Transportation. In today’s hectic world it is an advantage to talk to a person and not a machine. We have trained and qualified personnel in the office at all times.
In 2009, Sue was chosen to join the board of directors for the National Association of Catering Executives. In 2009 we also joined and became actively involved with the Local Business Network, Domestic Estates Managers Association, Celebration Network, and Motor City Connect.
